About Me
I’m Corinne Southerland, an illustrator based in New York City. Art is how I have fun. Since I was little, I enjoyed telling stories using pictures; inspired by all the cartoons, movies, and anime I saw. I would make picture books on copy paper and staple them together, and then share them with my classmates during lunch. Now I do the same; have fun telling stories with my illustrations. I enjoy drawing characters expressing their feelings and mine. I also use illustration to experiment with colors; how they affect one another and the people that look at them. I gather a lot of inspiration from daily life, animals, and other talented artists.
